October/November VOiCE nearly out
As I type the October/November issue of the Kensington and Fairlfield VOiCE is at the printers and will be hitting the streets early next week. The on line and audio version will be in place at around the same time.
This issue is going out to 6000 homes with 2000 going out to public places.
Tramp Tramp Tramp
Been busy working on the next issue of teh VOiCE, the more mundane but important stuff, getting the copy sorted for the adverts, collecting the moeny in from the advertisers, adn just having a general gab with the shopkeepers on Kensington and Prescot road. What is most surprising is hwo enthusiastic they are about getting the chance to advertise and getting to talk to me abotu absolutely anything. Funniest thing was talking to John or is it Eddie from JE Trophies, and how he used to live on Wavertree raod, and how there used to be a Bowling Alley in the upstairs part of what is now Taskers on Wavertree Road. This also gave me an idea for the next set of WWW.WHATWASHERE.COM interviews, this time with some of the local shop keepers talking about their local shops when they were growing up.
